This video is fabulous. I can't tell you how much this will help me FOREVER! More like this pleeeeease. I love your videos but when you pick things up from your jaunts I'd love more in depth information on how you will use them and what they will look like in your home. By-the-way I also take great insperation from the way you put your clothes, jewellery etc together. Thank you ❤

Hi. I’m not sure if you know of the KZbin channel called Madeleine Olivia, but she has recently posted a video showing her painting a bedroom in ‘breakfast room green’. She has a house in Cornwall, and while quite a traditional English scheme with some elegantly knackered stuff, it is different to yours. I thought you might like to watch it as you see a whole room in that colour for inspiration. The video is called English Countryside Bedroom Makeover, green, traditional & cosy. Hope that’s useful and also I love your channel, it’s original, realistic and inspirational.

It is always a delight to see another video appear. Your planning and design inspiration is great. I have never seen a spider chart before but it does provide in depth detail to a room's use. It made me smile when you left the romance bit for the bedroom blank! Resourcing items seems to take so long and it is always a case being in the right place at the right time. In this current cold spell I am always thinking of you and your family having to use the exterior temporary shower room..... Have the most wonderful weekend. Sophie.
@elegantlyknackeredstyle9 ай бұрын
Thank you. I need to give the romance but some extra thought 🤣 I won't tell you Mark's suggestions 🤣🤣🤣. Yes, sourcing things is the slowest part. This cold spell is a little challenging but I know it will all be over in a few weeks - doing is coming and an indoor shower is incoming too 😁

I so enjoyed this video - thank you. I am a visual person and really enjoy looking at pictures, it really inspires me! Green is my favourite colour and when I am planning a new scheme I have to stop myself from having too much green (as well as William Morris wallpaper and bird motifs!). I would love more videos like this and thank you for sharing all the tips and insights. So happy to have found your channel, I am still catching up with previous videos! I hope you are having a good weekend.

That’s so useful. We’re knocking down our conservatory in the next few months and extending. The kitchen is going in the footprint of the conservatory and the small extension is going to be pretty multi functional (snug, garden room, library, dining room etc). And what will be the ex-kitchen is going to be multifunctional too as the new back entrance, utility room and pantry. Such is cottage life! And then there’s the kitchen. I’ve got it all in my head (plus an initial kitchen design on plan), but I think using your methodology I can get much more organised, plus it will mean D will get an input too, rather than me springing it on him as a fait accompli. And multifunctional can’t mean just muddled. I feel spider charts coming on… In terms of interior books, I’m on a real classic Conran roll at the moment. Over the last few months I’ve bought his House, Simple, and Kitchen books second hand from Abe books. I’m very fond of Scandinavian design and subscribe to Readly, the magazine app, there’s a Swedish monthly interior magazine called Rum Hemma which I adore. I need to actually start organising and populating my Milanote app now. Thank for the tips L!

Gosh, you have got a lot happening. It sounds wonderful. These Norfolk cottages definitely benefit from a bit of jiggery pokery to bring them up to modern day living standards. Good luck with your planning.
