Thanks for answering questions! Love the series. I think a shop your home video would be great! I live in an old row house type building and have extremely loud neighbors. I 'pulled a Wayna' 😂 and installed peel and stck flooring (over poster board) and took it a step further by very carefully caulking gaps above and below the trim. (Used white caulk for the painted areas and clear for the areas around the unpainted wood trim.) I caulked first and then did the flooring. Just tried to inconspicuously fill any visible gaps, blending (with my finger) the caulk to have it look kinda seamless to the paint. I can still hear my neighbors, but their conversations aren't as clear as before. Hope this helps. 😁 Quick edit - Forgot to mention that I also put down an area rug.

For noise reduction, add rugs, the bigger the better if you have hard floors. Also, canvas wall art will dampen noise as well. Sound will eco off of latge hard surfaces.

A power tool video would be awesome! You can buy sound-proofing foam in the hardware store (here in Australia). My son bought some and attached it to his walls. Not sure if that might help with the nosy neighbour?

Hey girl, yes shop your house. What I would like to know. The color behind you, it looks like a terra cotta? I think this is your office, so I am wondering is the whole room this color? IF not what color would you or did you use for an accent wall? 🤔 If you could please share the color name and brand I would appreciate it. I know you like to shop at Lowe's so I was thinking maybe you got it from there. But before I go on a wild hunt to get that same color lol, I thought, just ask lol. And hugs to Jax! 🐕

Really hoping you see this. So I am moving to an apartment that has a weird layout. I wish I could attach a picture. The living room is rectangular. On one side there is the kitchen and on the living room side there is just a half wall. Right next to that is a full wall but on the hallway side. Barley big enough for a 13 inch tv much less a full size one. Directly across from that in the living room on the other side is a patio door and a very tall window (from floor to ceiling basically). There is a corner on the other side (next to the tall window) that has regular walls. I don't know how to arrange furniture in this room. I plan on buying a recliner and would like to have some other chairs for company, but how?
