Man, as usual, Stockton crew goes in, fire goes *OUT*. Well done, guys, that was a heck of a job!

Some may argue about the hose not being charged while driving over it. However your heavy vehicle can cause enough of a tear to weaken the hose and as soon as it is charged burst, or you weaken the hose enough reducing its life. That hose is the firefighters lifeline. Water is literally what is the difference between life and death for firefighters. The tank on their engine is usually good for about two minutes of water. Without a supply they may not have enough water to escape should conditions deteriorate.

Another example of how good this FD is, no muss, no fuss, they lay in a water supply seamlessly and have water on the fire within a couple of minutes after arrival. Outstanding! 😃👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Older semi rural areas are where you see those weird hydrants.

If there's a fire hose, just detour all of one block around it, it's not that hard
