That flat clear gives you a lot of creative options and can create some beautiful looks. I personally like an old patina look but I create it under the lexan. Apply the flat clear, then apply the rust and or earth washes where I want them and then apply the polycarbonate paint color I want to use. Then apply the flat clear on the outside over the weathered/rusted areas. As you mentioned the flat clear gives the washes something to grab onto which takes on the elastic quality of the ps paint which prevents it from cracking or chipping. I appreciate what you did today, great content. Your trucks looks fantastic! Great job 👍

I know you can use acetone vapor to smooth out the 3D printer lines comes out smooth and shiny (but don’t forget about it ) lol

Once you have the ps paint on the lexan, can you then use any rattlecan paint over the top? (Like Rust-Oleum or krylon)
