Sis I think a larger rug would look better and have a better impact against your existing furniture. A larger rug can be slightly pulled under your sofas for the illusion of a bigger space and would still cover your the rest of your floor area lovely. This rug is nice but too small for your space. Closed plan kitchens are better for people that actually cook lol you need to be able to shut the door when cooking hard food or your whole place will absorb the scent 😅

I agree about the rug, I think it is too small! I think you need a light rug with a bit of colour, my house was simialr to yours but I added a pastel yellow and peonie pink, not much of it but grey/silver really looks nice with yellow!

Haha, In the UK it’s quite standard to have a box room in most homes. Usually used as a babies nursery or a home office/ wardrobe :)

What a waste of cupboard put in a continuos hot water not 80’s water tank. , and those 70’s handrail up th stairs , fail , houses are so small in the uk glad I left
