I wish you could customize the habs would be easy enough especially 2x1 habs where each section pretty much has a small partition between features it would be easy enough you think to have an option to just rearrage where each feature is located inside the hab and nothing else wouldnt take much work you think especially if you decide to add windows then it deletes things you like while the cargo area say in the all in one is still there which in my eyes should be the first feature to dissappear if you add windows instead of a table area or desk or whatever was located in that spot. Would also be nice to choose things like color selection and how light or dark it is and maybe an option for do you want it too look messy like every hab usually is or have it prestine a simple on or the other would be nice as well as ladder and door placement so it's not up and down Rollercoaster trying to get from one end of your ship to the other. Regardless of that wanna say thank you for these videos they save so much time not having to buy it and go back and forth to my ship seeing if I like something or not.....another video option you could do is show habs what the interiors look like when a door is connected to different parts of the hab what it looks like and what's deleted in place of the door or window in that space

Cool series for enthusiast ship builders with an eye for details.

Thanks so much! I’ve decided I’m a Nova Galactic for living spaces and Deimos for functional/militaristic spaces.
@XoRandomGuyoX Жыл бұрын
I'm the same. Nova Galactic has a great lived-in look and a fair bit of functionality. For some of the larger habs I enjoy the sleek Deimos look.

I love this series. I have a monster C class with 12.5k Cargo, 100+ to all 3 weapon systems, a 30 LY jump range, 11 crew (i know 8 is cap) and 100 mobility. I have every work station and multiple living areas along with a brig and cargo bay hab so your videos have been AMAZING for such a huge ship how you dont have more likes is beyond me!!! Anyways thanks for the great vids!

I loooove the Deimos 3x1, something about the lighting and colors makes it really nice on the eyes

I too prefer to make narrow ships. After watching all of your hab tour videos so far, I carefully selected some habs for my ship recently. Then I discovered my problem. I like to add viewport windows, which removes a lot of furniture. I wish there was a better way to see what I am giving up still before committing haha

Using the Stroud, Like the dimmer aspect and the more spacious 3x1 layout while still having a small profile, and my ship Has the Deimos Ares bridge in front of it, and a stroud workshop on top. One ladder for Landing mid top and docker. I got a ship the size of the frontier, but More than double the living space, and can have a full crew on deck. Feels like a ship I could actually live In while still being a combat monster. 6x autoprojectors for the win ;P

I discovered something interesting, I found numerous junk parts spawning in my ships cargo. Every time I edit the ship and move the Frontier 2x1 hab, it stowes all the clutter in the ships cargo, duplicating it every time.

yeah that happens to all of us

Happens to all of us. For me, that's h🤬lla annoying. Specially since I'm filling up my Cargo quick af. Even thinking of parking my 7k+ Cargoed Razorleaf & return back to my "B13 C-Hollowed 1 /Mk.12.1". What's that, you might ask yourself. Well, that's a 52k+ Cargo hauler which started out as a Varuun Hymn 2... 🤣 /DBB

Love these... but when we getting to the cockpits!? This is the one I'm most interested in.

I only have 1 more hab left then I can get to them, unfortunately all the ones that look the same and have slightly different names seem to be identical inside.
@XoRandomGuyoX Жыл бұрын
@@Digfig There is one exception, the basic Magellan cockpit looks a bit different from some of the upgrades. But otherwise, yeah, the different name suffixes tend to change the cargo capacity and hull points on offer, usually with a higher mass as an offset.

Rebuilding the UC Prison Shuttle to an intergalactic "Jumbojet" but starting off making it into an A-class so more like a private jet but still with same base look as of the starting ship. Watching ship from rear to front: Removed the starting habs. Placed Stroud All-in-one 3x1 from front Docker back underneath cockpit, Nova Galactic (NG) Living quarters 2x1 to the right of the cockpit, NG Workshop 2x1 to the right. Engines removed & replaced by fuel tanks. Grav Drive upgraded to Helios 400 Grav Drive (Want to have that massive jump capability). Engines where grav drive & reactor previously were sitting, 3xWhite Dwarf 3015 Engines; Gonna need that speed to race away from attackers. Atm at Kryx & the reactors here=💩, but will get that fixed soon too. Scan jammer (Multi-freq) & Shield (Deflector SG-60 Shield Generator) added too. Anyways, thx for making my choice of 2x1 and 3x1 hab choice tremendously much easier. 😎👍 /DBB

Stroud has the warmest color scheme. The layout is the same as Deimos. I go with Stroud.
@oldman1973 Жыл бұрын
Nice video, watched all your tours very informative, just one thing tho... Deimos is pronounced Day-Moss, not de mos, and Taiyo is Tie-yo, if you pay attention to the npcs at each shipyard they will teach you how to pronounce each one.
@XoRandomGuyoX Жыл бұрын
Eh, dee-mos is closer to the Greek pronunciation. Day-moss is more what the British did to the word.

Taiyo more often than not looks like a studio apartment with reused or flatpack furniture in it.
@Silakai2 ай бұрын
Taiyo 2x2: 4 beds. Good kitchen & bathroom. Minimal exercise & entertainment areas. Very cluttered and bland. Not much going for it. Nova 2x2: only 2 tiny beds. Good kitchen & bathroom. No exercise area. Entertainment is better with the tv & couches. Stroud 3x1: 4 open-end beds better for tall people. Good kitchen & bathroom. No exercise area. Minimal entertainment area. Deimos 3x1: same as Stroud. Brighter/whiter coloring which I don't prefer Winner: I'd probably pick Stroud for the better beds and coloring. None are great though. I'd pick the Deimos 3x1 Living Quarters over any of these since it has the chairs and tv as well as the dartboard

The Taiyo interiors are the most disappointing. They're suppose to be the most sought after manufacturer in terms of "style" but the interior furniture looks jury-rigged or from walmart. They should have had their own unique interior.
