I enjoy your video walkthroughs. thanks for doing them! Something to think about as you look at the themes of the different modules is to remember the lore of the companies that make them. - Diemos is a military contractor, so their modules will feel more like a military barracks/field-command. Or in this case, a logistics and materiel hub. - Hopetech is a long-haul shipping company, so the interiors will feel more like what I'd think the living areas of an oil tanker, or cargo-ship would be like. Lived in by a bunch of sweaty leather-necks. - Nova Galactic is a descendent of old Earth space travel, so it'll feel more NASA-like, but also long-term lived-in. Take a look at ISS interior pics, and you'll see a lot of similarities (blue handrails everywhere for 0-g mobilty aids, stuff like that). NASA is heavy on redundant systems, in case one goes down, you have a back-up. So, if your control room is damaged, you have a backup ops/engineering console in the cargo area. - Taiyo tries to cater to the most customers, so their modules are usually derivatives. Mostly from Hopetech, probably trying to compete with the civilian uses (shipping cargo and people). More focused on exterior aesthetics. With a few "proprietary" features. (typical big corp.) - Stroud is a newcomer, so their story is similar to Taiyo, just deriving more from Diemos, I think, trying to compete for that military contract. That's why Nova stuff always looks more unique. Great stuff, thanks again for all of these! I know it's a lot of time and effort.

I was also in my mind upon watching this choosing the Deimos but ingame i have gone with HopeTech because of, at this point in game version/development, it looks more realistic, in my opinion, at what crates you can get in and out of the ship. I have the Ship Bed 200 Landing bay from Taiyo. The Deimos looks to clean (which is probably a good thing). Also in the HopeTech anything that rattles are things you can grab and move to a different location in the cargo hold for example the buckets/silver ladders on the floor can be moved to a different location.

I think the reason that the Hopetech looks that way is cos it was used for quest environment. It's used a couple times in the early parts of story quests, and they just didn't replicate the hab but tidy for your ship. Either way, great video and series, merci.

Nova Galactic feels like they're built for redundancy. multiple bathrooms, and many of these "random tech screens" display the same info. it feels like you can stay updated on systems or displays in more than just one specialized room, which is extremely quality of life for a smaller crew of up to 8 running a larger size ship

100% agree with you that this should give you a shit ton of cargo capacity. I’d say 1000 minimum. It’s a damn 3x3 for hauling cargo. Wtf Bethesda

The solution I found to "how did they get it in there" is my landing bay is to starboard and my docker is to port. Those hatches aren't very big but they're at least hatches.

HopeTech may appear more cluttered, but they have additional storage containers that I did not see in the Deimos or Nova cargo holds. How can anyone pick aesthetics over functionality? I’ll take the HopeTech, tyvm.

agree on the cargo modules are just trash space.. they don't add anything but mount points
