Personally, I find chimneys quite cumbersome to clean, so I'm inclined to avoid installing one. I'm considering leaving the wall above the gas stove open to let the steam dissipate easily, making tile cleaning simpler. However, I'm open to any other suggestions or insights you might have on this matter. I will suggest installing an auto clean chimney and that to the slanted one so that it does not interfere while working.
