Hi Stephanie, I've been enjoying making these charms a lot and feel kind of crazy as I see all the 6mm beads in my stash winking at me. Then the shield charm, a take on the bling bling ring... genius!... then I decided to make rings using 4mm druks, which is amazing too... one thing leads to another and time goes by without saying Hi to you. Just imagine a really happy person who is totally into these bead designs. That's me. Thank you for it all!

G'Day My Lovely, Had lovely morning writing a long winded novel to you and then I accidently grabbed my mouse and clicked and it sent me out of your page and I lost the novel just as I was on the verge of sending it to you. After saying a few bloodies and dams I have now collected myself and will try to resurrect the contents of my novel!!!!!! Hopefully (with the aid of my low charged little grey cells) it went like this....... Wow, what a wonderful to start out the New Year with a video from you and while I am eating my Breakie I am thoroughly enjoying watching you being very creative. If this little teaser is a sign of what's coming next then we are indeed in for a treat. Not that I am putting pressure on you but there are many months ahead to come. And this is why you are the Master of the Beads, you never fail us with your designs. Love the "Stephanie Colours" (that's what I call your use of colour throughout all your videos). You know how I feel about pearls and I am so glad that you included them in the design. You know that I have a very overactive Muse who has so much energy (she leaves me so far behind and out of breath) and she has come up an idea. If you used the bead (the part that you used to attach the component to the band) and make some and use them to separate the charms. This may help to keep the components from overlapping each other.... it was just a thought that she had. It could also work on the necklace as well. I have been having computer problems over the last few weeks but at the moment it is performing to how it should (lucky for it as it was nearly kicked out the back door several times) but I was having trouble with sending some Emails. Not sure if you received the one I sent a few days before Christmas and the most important one being on New Year's Eve. I will try and sort it out today and I will try to send it to you. It's the one that I mostly wanted you to receive. I think that it has to do with sending messages up the airwaves up the hill (so to speak) to the Northern zone. I think that they get tired and roll back downhill. Let me know within the next couple of days if you have received it and if you don't I will try again. You will know why when you read it. I am travelling slowly but I am getting there. Maybe I should connect my computer lead and plug it into my ear so that I can get my batteries charged and run on a100% like my computer. I hope that you and the fur babies are keeping warm and are out of the cold. Sitting by a log fire and snuggling together while (you, my lovely) are enjoying a mug of Hot Chocolate teaming with Marshmallows would seem the go to keeping warm. While here, I am surrounded by an air conditioner and a fan together with a cool glass of Sparkling Apple Cider, (they say it's going to be 34 here today) It was 20 when I was having my breakie at 7:30 this morning. It won't last long as in the nether regions of OZ, it's so up and down on the thermometer that it's almost laughable. It will be back to the mid teens within a few days, no air conditioners but wearing much warmer clothing. Lol. I will probably remember something that I forgot in my original novel (the little grey cells aren't firing on al four cylinders at the moment) and I know when It will happen...... in the middle of the night while enjoying one of the most in-depth and relaxing sleep that I would have had in months.....go figure!!! How are your little fur babies and family going, well I hope and give them all a big kiss and cuddle from Down Under. Thanks for the video and am waiting with much excitement for your next video. Hope that the novel doesn't put you to sleep but then it could make good bedtime reading. Hear from you soon. Many Blessings....XXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOO

Hello my dear Chris! I sympathize with your computer problems! I have gremlins in my computer at the moment that are causing me aggravation as well!!! Yes the little bead is perfect for separating the charms :) I made a video on the beaded bead but it is a little bigger than the one on the charm but it could work also! I love our muses!!! They are in sync! I haven't received your email as of yet but I will check again. We are having a snowstorm here in New England - wishing I was with you having a cocktai/iced tea on the terrace LOL :) I'm going to make this a short reply for now as my recent cold has turned into the flu! The "furry balls of cuteness" are getting on very well! Andrew seems happy to have a baby sister :) How are your gorgeous canines? Love to you and your family...talk soon XOXOXO

Thanks for this video. I'm a beginner and have tried to do this bail three times now. I'm starting and stopping the video to follow everything you do all the way through. I even went back to the beginning to finish the next 5 big beads. I get all the way through it, join and one side looks bigger then the other. This is before I put in the 15's. I've tried it with and with out the 15's and one side is always bigger. What am I doing wrong?
@nyperi135 жыл бұрын
Hi... I'm not sure if this is going to be a fix for the issue you are having, but someone mentioned down in the comments that the use of TOHO beads in this project will not yield the same results as when using MIYUKI beads. Stephanie states what she is using, but many people do no know that there is actually differences in beads from supplier to supplier, even when they are called the same thing like 11/0's or 15/0's. My first attempt was made using TOHO's and it did not turn out proplerly. I am actually just about to try again using Miyuki beads (they just arrived in the mail today!). Fingers crossed that this is the fix to my issue and hopefully yours as well -- GOOD LUCK!

Hi Lynn 🌻😊🙏 You can message me a picture on Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look. Most of the time I can figure out what is going on with a few pictures. If you are using Toho then try using Miyuki as suggested.

I accidently bought the wrong size rivolis. I bought 14s. Are these too big I bought from Art beads? Just wondering if I can still use them? Thanks Stephanie
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry7 жыл бұрын
iceeNzay The 14mm Rivoli is too big for this piece. It requires a 10 or 10.5 mm Rivoli to make the beads fit. However, you could adapt it for a pendant. It would mean recalculating all bead amounts to fit around the stone and a larger flat back stone for the back! Actually it would be a whole new design 😂!!! So sorry hon 😬

Just for clarification, I use predominately Toho beads, which I love. BUT they will NOT make any of your pieces in this series (except the herringbone rope) nearly as finished or as nicely as the Miyuki. So save yourself some trouble and use Miyuki. I always ask designers to let us know which, if any, brand beads because it definately makes a difference in many patterns. Of course you did in your video, but just letting folks know if they don't already. Thanks!
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry7 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry sweetie😐 I specify in the video as well as in the materials list under the video what seed beads I used for best outcome😃 I hope you give it another try with Miyuki seeds😃
@dixiemaskell74347 жыл бұрын
Oh, don't apoligize. I did it with Myuki and it worked out wonderfully. But the brands are interchangeable in many, many patterns, this is not one of them. And you did clearly say you used Myuki. Just giving anyone who is planning a substitution a heads up that they will be disappointed if they do not use Myuki.

How can I send the photo? I have made some and came to think that I maybe pull to much. It is not straight and the flat stone did not fit well, the space looked to small.

Well, it worked but mine was not perfect haha, just needs more practising I guess. Speaking of which, I was wondering if you have stopped making the rest of the charms, I only saw no. 1 and 2 and was hoping for the rest to come some time? Have a nice day :-)

G'Day My Lovely, I have just sent (I'm keeping my fingers crossed) the wayward Email. I must have been high on "non-Alcoholic Sparkling Apple Cider" and got a little heady and somehow two of my Emails were sent to me. They others that I wrote made it to their destinations. I rewrote them as I first did and I know that they seem funny to read now but I think you will get why it was so important (to me) for you to read it. I hope that you are rest and getting lots of loving tender care from your Hubby. Plenty of hot Chicken soup, loads of bed rest and "no recording of videos until you are all better". I wish that indeed that I lived next door to you and then I could help look after you. It would have been so much fun to sit around having a few drinks and enjoying ourselves in the sun...Laughing and may be a little bit of beading perhaps!! I hope that the wayward Email turns up! Take care and hibernate under those bed covers until you are better my little Polar Bear ......Many Blessings XXXXX
