Beyond creation, obscura, gojira, fleshgod, atheist, nile, gorguts, augury, nyn, fractal universe, revocation, and of course the almighty muhammed of necrophagist (who still easily puts these guys all to shame with what he was doing in the late 90s/early 2000s). I agree the singer who plays guitar is less seen in more technical acts but its not low by any means. Id say one of every five bands that have technical music have a mutli instrumentalist at the head. Dudes performance was good but there are plenty more just as good. When people growl the shit out for nothing, this vocal melody is out of the world. Man the vocals is stellar level. And obviously no words for miles's lead bits. He is always a genius in his own way. In many ways I am happy that miles is out of rings, since we get to hear this pure genius stuff with all his efforts/focus here. Drums is stellar too. And Andrews solo bit is brilliant too. The solo/rhythm section before the end chorus is outstanding. Nuclear blast - Glad you signed them up. More bands like this please!

Sorry, guys, but the name "Interloper" will forever remain in my head associated with the label "technical death metal" which it used to be years before. Now it's completely different style of music. But, to be honest, I like this new song, way more than the previous one with cringy computer graphics video.

@milesdimitribaker3 жыл бұрын
Yeah man! That was almost 10 years ago. Tastes change and a lot of that super tech stuff stopped being fun for me to play. Don’t get me wrong there’s some ripping tracks on the LP that have really tough stuff to play. I think myself and the dudes have all leaned towards this type of music for a while and it’s what became enjoyable for us and naturally comes out when we write now ya know? If we sold out we would probably have 100% singing and butt rock riffs or just done a deathcore band so we could go rip tours with all the bands we know and have toured with. I’d venture to say this avenue we took is more niche with the moderately technical music + singing in places. Thanks for checkin the video out tho and letting us know what you think!
