I started reading the manga and then watched the anime. After realizing that there are so much content that's getting cut, I proceeded to read the LN and become curious of WN. And now I'm here, watching this kind of videos. Is it safe to assume that I'm addicted to this series or story? And I'm actually planning to buy hardcopy of the novels...

This is technically an introduction to 5 shades, because Rose never met with Zeta and Delta. To be honest, i could care less about her meeting Zeta (Maybe its because i dont know much about her since she gets barely any screentime in the anime), but i was looking forward to a Rose interaction with Delta. Delta and Gamma are the only 2 shades i like.

Basically zeta is like the scout of shadow garden she’s often out doing scouting tasks like intel gathering and observation etc basically she handles gathering information for the other members ahead of time so they have a rough idea of what they are going up against etc as well as keeps an eye on the cults activities

Zeta would be arguably the most interesting Shade to meet though. Without spoiling much, she has her own inside faction within Shadow Garden. Victoria, 559, who is arguably Rose's only rival, is a part of that faction so the interaction may have been interesting.

I am confused with the pacing of the story. The lawless city arc starts right after the Bushin festival arc right where rose runs away. And according to the Anime Claire and cid goes there a week after the Bushin festival. And in the end of s1 we saw Rose starting her training under Lambda. So how come does she start in a unit in just a week?

she was already placed in a unit the first day she was a member of Shadow Garden. most members in Shadow Garden start out with zero skills. since Rose is already a very skilled swordsman, they most likely felt comfortable with her abilities to go out on missions so that she could train working as a team

IIRC it was Cid in Shadow guise that Rose heard playing the piano in the sewer, for now. As for Beta, chalk it up to them supposed to have masks, I guess?🤷‍♂

@@TheCommonJoo my guess? Fanservice, if you have an entire organization of drop dead beauties, why cover up their faces? Also might be a way to prop up whoever did the animating by showing off their hard work. Afterall any help is welcome given how insane competition can be in Japan, which is not helped by that new law.

@@jeffy.958 Yeah, in LNs they always have their masks/hood on. But anime didn't show them as to not confuse the audience.
