INTERMENT OF MR. LAUREN BRUNER

Mr. Lauren Bruner was a USS Arizona survivor from the attack on Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu on December 7, 1941. He will be the among the final survivors laid to rest with an interment ceremony at the USS Arizona Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 7, 2019.

Mr. Bruner, as a Burn Survivor Myself, I wish to Truly Thank You, for Your Great Sacrifice. We, can only imagine what happened, on that fateful day. On this Memorial Day May 29th 2023. I Say again Thank Yoi for Serving, this Great Country of Ours, and Rest in Peace, Amongst Yoir Crew Mates, in Heavenly Peace.

It is impossible for me - a lifelong civilian - to understand the experience of Mr. Lauren Bruner and the other survivors of the USS Arizona. Upon contemplating that he and many other survivors chose this for a final resting place, among their shipmates who perished on that infamous day, I find that I am able to appreciate with more depth what they lived through. To all of them, I offer my sincere gratitude for their actions and sacrifices. My own father was a WW2 veteran, laid to rest in a US Veterans cemetery together with my mother. Rest in peace all.
