Intermodal Trains Come in Pairs! | Norfolk Southern New Castle District

Turns out, intermodal trains come in pairs!!
The first intermodal came through at a good rate of speed! It was unusually empty! I wonder if it was an extra movement to ferry well cars to another location. I loved the horn on the single AC44C6M leading!
The second intermodal followed only a few minutes behind and was much more loaded. It was led by another AC44C6M with two GEVOs trailing. Overall, it was another typical day on the New Castle District!!
