Intermountain Café proves it’s “Not Your Typical Hospital Food”

The culinary service team from Intermountain Café at Intermountain Medical Center received the Spiciest Chili Award from the 36th Annual Great Salt Lake Chili Affair. The event raises funds and awareness for The Road Home, an organization which helps individuals step out of homelessness. The team, including two chefs de cuisine, prepared food for 2000 patrons, which took three full days and included cooking 500 pounds of pork.
