Thanks for this review! I was curious about how much you think the tone is affected by having a sound hole cover in place? I am looking for a mic for live performance, as I hate the piezo sound, but surely using this microphone to pick up on sound on the other side of a soundhole cover is going to really affect the quality of the tone? I was hoping that the mic would have off-axis cancellation which would negate the need for a soundhole cover. Interested to hear your thoughts and thanks again for the review!

Have you tried to position the NV tone mic in the forefront of the guitar pointing out the 12th fret (may not be easy though) to eventually better capture the acoustic? Thanks

Hey man awesome video! I am thinking about purchasing the NV tone for home recordings. I recently bought a large diaphragm condenser mic. (AT2035) Can these two mics be used together without causing phase problems?
