Internal and External parts in Assemblies - Solidworks 021

I have an assy with external parts, I want to save those parts _internally_ to the assy file. Is this possible? EDIT: The answer to my question is to right-click on the desired parts/sub-assys within the top level assembly you're working on and say "make virtual". Then save the assembly as normal.
