This is very useful. I also like the new section, even if I was a big fan of "Hai on tea".

Dear Sensei Yang. It is great that you have started a new subject on the Dao de Jing, please don't make your talking about it too short. I found in Amazon an english translation of HUANG YUANJI in KINDLE addition; i think it was translated, by the late Thomas Cleary. Huang yuanji commenting on some of the chapters of the Dao De Jing, starting from the first chapter. as it cost only 2.99$, i bought it.

Hello, please do not buy that book. It is not a real translation. That book ONLY confuses its reader. It is not about money, it is about information. Avoid it please.

@@HaiYangChannel It seems that Thomas Cleary has translated a number of Taoist texts. I have in general heard good impressions of his translations. What are your thoughts on his translations in general?

Thank you for adding Dao De Jing. May I ask where you teach in Montreal? Is it possible to study with you in person?

Yes, of course.

Hi I am also very interested and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to learn from you, in xing yi quan. I have a background in qigong at the moment.

The downward/upward movements are, for me, easily visualized as casting a fly fishing rod. The load is in the opposite direction of the target...There is that point where the backwards movement (the load) moves through the rod...then the line...then shoots the lure between the rocks where the trout is waiting.🎣 Would you ever consider reading and translating the Tao de Jing to us? Your grasp of English is awesome. Not necessarily a commentary (which would be welcomed!) but a translation of the images. It would be a popular playlist, I'm sure!

Hello Master Yang. Very useful and interesting lesson. In Shanxi, they are just as attentive to the creation of a three-dimensional dan tian reversal, especially in Dai shi. And I also haven't heard of the dantian reversal theory. The movement manifested itself, with practice. Vertical movements in Dai Shi and Che Shi are very strongly emphasized in the phases of accumulation and release of effort, and only with time these movements become less noticeable and the release is more powerful. I have a question. Emissions of effort consume vital forces very much. How do you think it is best to practice fa jin, so as not to harm health and develop the power of ejection?

I am not sure the dantian rotation you mentioned here is the same or not. I will find a chance to answer your question.

@@HaiYangChannel Thank you. It's hard to explain in words. It is like moving both up and down and to the right and left at the same time, but this can be controlled with a step, drilling with the whole body towards the opponent with a safety net in the ming men area at the end of the movement. In fact, this is the union of the step of the tiger, the body of the dragon and the step of the chicken together. it turns out that the hind leg gives an impulse to the movement, the inner thighs, relaxing, rotate the dan tian forward and downward, and the ming men pushes along with the effort of the step with the front leg. Reverse coup - all the way
