I never try to guess gold weight. I don't want people to know how bad I am at it. But man, I loved when you guys got this dredge. I knew it would make a difference. I was about to go-to uwharrie last Sunday. Do you have any exact coordinates or land marks on uwharrie you could suggest. I've invested a good bit of money into prospecting as a hobby for me and my son and I want to pull some gold out. It would be cool if a local KZbinr started a gold panning club so I could meet some prospectors.

There are certain spots your allowed to prospect. There are always spots that the mineral rights are privately owned( can’t prospect) shoot me over an email and I’ll see if I can’t point you in the right direction! Happy Hunting!

Will some one correct me. I am new, so there is alot I don't know yet. Is it legal to use high bankers and dragging machines in N.C? I thought you only could use a shovel and a pan.

@@davidchampeau6150 like many places NC’s laws on prospecting Vary depending on where you are looking. For public property you are correct, pan and shovel only. Private property is good to go. Thank you for watching and happy hunting!

I’m sure it was in correct. We cut the mat to fit the box. It wouldn’t lock into the retaining bracket if it was backwards. I appreciate you looking out for me though!
