If I could hear the sound of that engine idling, I might could sleep all night.

Same. How bizarre! Once I got used to it, I didn't sleep well with engine off. Cummins rocks (as long as you don't turn them down-IT GUTS THEM!) But tt wasn't just Cummins. Also heard drivers complain of "castrated" Cats & "dumbed down" Detroits too.

...I drove one like that back in 2006...it was an Eagle...so it was a little fancier...and being 12 years ago...it was in a little better condition as well...International made a good trucks...

Engine sounds rather good...Cummins?😳 Cabovers rule...no matter what country you’re in!🥰

The inside of the cab should be restored. A new pair of high-back bucket seats or captain's chairs, a new matress and curtain for the sleeper, clean up the inside and will look nice. How many miles does this rig have? This truck I remember from a friend I know. His uncle was a retired truck driver who drove a truck like that for Safeway and that International-Harvester, International along with Kenworth, Peterbilt, White-Freightliner, Freightliner COE trucks were very common also used by other supermarket chains in the United States and Canada and by the late 1990's all the above mentioned trucks are not on the fleet anymore.

Some shots of the outside of the truck would have been nice.

Must be one of those horns with active noise cancelling. Why isn't the truck spotless and in good shape like it should be?

Should be good, solid, tough old workhorse truck if not used & abused sir, but they can have electrical issues.
@ricksworlddereaux23977 жыл бұрын
how much you paid for it,,,ey get seats fixed,or put seatcovers....engine runs ok

Whats that ticking noise?? Fix the interior..as least
@SteelyPaw7 жыл бұрын
Do you keep tags and inspection on this truck just so you can drive it once in awhile? Also, I know it's old but why is the interior in such bad shape, looks rat eaten. The engine and drive train sound pretty good at least thru the video.

These trucks were ok but i hated those short stick shifts,even the brand new one i drove for walmart in 1995 was stiff from new till the 550k miles i put on it before they sent it to Iraq
