International Cat Show - 23rd July 2022

Four long years had passed since I last saw the cat show in my home town. It was about time.

I'm amazed at how tolerant these cats are of all the handling they're put through. Gorgeous animals!

Cats are easier to film in shows than dogs. It shows that some of the cats are used to these shows and are thus rather calm and don't squirrel around all the time. 🙂

There must be hundreds of people in that convention hall. If my cat was not in a kennel in there she'd be running. For a cat to just sit on a table in there, now thats work

My Bengal wouldn't tolerate this at all, she would take a finger or two off 😜 on the other hand my Ragdoll would love it he would flop all over the place 😜

My cat would not be able to do this. She can't sit still for more than 5 minutes

They must start socializing them really well when young so that they'll be calm with handlers and in noisy environments

I'm not an expert with cat breeds but maybe the following list could help a little: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cat_breeds It's pretty hard to find any kind of info about the breeds involved in these past events.

The first two look like toygers, the next one after that looks like a British shorthair. Number 4 im not sure but maybe a Scottish Straight, though the body type and ears don't fit that breed, the next one looks like a Siamese and then a maine coon, just guessing tho lol. I own a British Shorthair & a Scottish Fold. Love cats...& dogs

The first two are probably Oriental Shorthair due to their head shape the next looks like a British Shorthair

1: Oriental Shorthair. 2: Cornish Rex. 3: British Shorthair. 4: maybe American Shorthair (I`m not sure). 5: Burmese Cat. It`s the American Type Burmese. 6: Maine Coon. To sum up the list of all other breeds in the video (in no specific order): Norwegian Forest Cat, Ragdoll, Somali Cat, Devon Rex, Sacred Birman, Egyptian Mau, Korat, Russian Blue, Siamese (Modern Type), Ocicat.
