International Coastal CleanuP Negril Slide Show 2019 at Negril Community Centre, Saturday, September 21, 2019.
There was great Negril Chamber of Commerce and Negril community participation by students and adults alike. The results have been tallied and are listed below:
• Number of Volunteers: Adults: 100; Children: 20
• Total Weight of Trash Collected: 1125 lbs.
• Total Number of Trash Bags Filler: 75
• Estimated Distance Cleaned: 3 miles
There were many participation groups that aided in the International Coastal CleanuP such as: Negril All Age, Cliff Hotel, NYS/Heart Trust, Kiwanis Negril, Lions Club Savanna-la-mar, Negril CDC, Sheffield All Age, Kiwanis Negril Point, Negril Craft Market, NEPA/NIGIALPA, Negril Treehouse, Rotary Club of Negril, Negril Chamber of Commerce, Rockhouse Hotel, Skylark Resort and Hedonism II.
