I will only come to Japan for Noah, oh my God, I am in love because of him
Living in Korea and having travelled to Japan a number of times the biggest differences I've seen: 1. Noise - it's really loud in Korea, the speaker vans selling fruit / other wares - Japan is really quiet 2. Korea's public transportation is a lot clearer (to understand) and cheaper than Japan 3. Japanese drivers follows road rules a lot more than Korean drivers - LOL 4. Japanese men I've noticed are more willing to dye their hair crazy colours and have edgy hair styles compared to Korean men 5. Older people in Korea are a lot stronger, and will push you out of the way if you are not fast enough ahaha

I sometimes feel like korea and Japan are so far ahead when it comes to technology. It would be nice to not have to carry rings of keys for everything but since most of have our own vehicles (or multiple vehicles) we would carry keys anyway. @phatasm243 жыл бұрын
@Miss Plain Jane Hello. Wow. You got me in a pickle. I don't think it's fair to rate and/or compare Japan vs Korea cos many people (including myself) experience it differently. 3 words huh...hmm. Japan: organized, service oriented, friendly. Korea: 2nd home, fast pace/moving, fashion powerhouse
@missplainjane39053 жыл бұрын
@@phatasm24 Sorry if the questions were kinda overwhelming to you. @Estarianne20003 жыл бұрын
@@missplainjane3905 Hmm, that's hard! I really loved both places. I would say in terms of modern architecture they aren't that much different, although Tokyo has more money invested. Seoul is less "polished" but is still very clean and friendly. Maybe Japanese culture is a little bit more distance at the start, like in Korea waitresses would ask us questions about ourselves. But still very kind if you need help in both places! Japan has more vending machines, I loved the vending machines. My husband's mother was Okinawan and my daughter was living outside of Seoul when we went. So my daughter spoke a little Korean and my son speaks a little Japanese and plus Google translate we were able to get around. Oh I forgot, my daughter was in Seoul for Pride (2018 I think) and she was quite surprised by the number of people protesting Pride there. I think Japan is a little more open that way.
@Estarianne20003 жыл бұрын
One other thing is that everything in Japan moves much faster. If you're walking slowly on the sidewalk in Tokyo when people are trying to get home you're in the way 😂

@@Estarianne2000 How was the food in both countries ?
@Estarianne20003 жыл бұрын
@@missplainjane3905 amazing, but also I'm used to eating mostly Asian food. Korean food tends to be quite spicy, also Seoul has amazing street food. Japanese food doesn't tend to be spicy, we didn't do street food there. Japan is more expensive by a lot, especially in Tokyo. In Okinawa we had a lot of really fresh seafood. In Tokyo we had Kobe beef and conveyor belt sushi. In Kyoto we had okonomiyaki. In Seoul we had barbecue and kimchi fried rice and seafood stew.
