I just got back last weekend from Scotland, England and France. I swear I thought that I saw you in London when we arrived prior to our transfer flight to Edinburgh. Traveling was fine until our flight home. Our original flight home from Chicago was canceled twice during the trip & again after we got back to Chicago. Immigration & customs delayed us anyways due to a lot of UN refugees on the flight & apparently a lot of Russians. They were all taken to the back of Immigration. The biggest problem we had was convincing the International customer service reps was how LARGE the US is compared to Europe. I live in western Arkansas, so they just didn’t comprehend that I lived near Texas!

How interesting - you and Jetting Julia just posted today vlogs about working DFW-MEX flights that also included comments about extreme turbulence making cabin service difficult - were you two girls on the same plane?? 🤣 Thankfully, of course, safety prevailed and you both arrived safely. Sorry you've been ill, Kat - I caught a bug and was down for four days myself last week - sucks! Lots of water and sleep helped me kick the creepy crud. . . How things have changed from when I worked for an Airline in the 1960's we were not allowed any tattoos if you were working with the public, we also had crew catering on board, flight deck had 3 different meals in those days it Captain 1st officer and flight engineer, cabin crew 6 people passengers max 130 and aircraft Boeing 707 or VC10, and we got $20.00 overseas allowance and a percentage of the bar takings

I lived in Medellin Colombia and loved it. The airport is about a 20 min. ride to El Poblado. It's a beautiful City and easy to get around. Just watch your phone and camera - people love to snatch them out of your hand and claim them as their own. Wish your layover was longer so you could really get a feel for that beautiful city.

Kat, there is one minor flaw in leaving an umbrella in your car: It will be the time where you’re in the terminal -- but the umbrella is in the car (this on a return from a trip)! Then whst good does it do? 😁

No, but we get a couple more dollars an hour when we work international flights and a little bit higher per diem so that is supposed to help cover some of it❤️
