Andrey Chirkov est le combattant de Karaté Kyokushinkai qui a offert le plus de spectacle lors du tournoi International Kyokushin Challenge à Paris-Bercy.
Seul le champion du Monde Alejandro Navarro le stoppera en demi-finale, au terme d'un combat extrêmement serré.

the Russian could win this fight any way he wanted. All he needed to do was work a front snap kick and thrust kick to the body and he'd wear this guy out. the fancy spinning back kicks and cartwheel kick are unnecessary.

Minute 1:15, that was a smooth and deadly back roundhouse that was so fast it would have taken the opponent's head off practically, definitely some work would be needed on the C5-C6 vertebrae if that made contact, grab the C-spine collar and stabilize that neck, get the patient on the backboard. Even as an American, I've got to say, that Russian bear knows how to throw down, Well done sir. That was beautiful and precise.
