Nice. Too much choreography. I'm really tired to see that massage is now more show than really work with muscles, pain..the really meaning of massage is dying cause this kind of competitions. I have to say is nice. But impractical.

You are right. Surgeons and shamans will lose their credibility - in complete different contexts - if they compete in "championships". Massage has performance elements in it and I have no problem even when people claim spiritual benefits BUT it should be patient-centered! Use any technique when the patient's conditions/impairments indicate it. For instnace, guasha in this performance becomes a gimmick or prop, which achieves virtually nothing. Why suddenly making a U turn at the middle of the medial border of the scapular during a long stroke along the erectors? Is there a clinical or anatomical reason for that? I bet it does not even feel good just as the few sudden cold superficial "guasha" strokes.
