So glad I found this series. It works! Thanks for putting it out there.

I find it quite rhythmic; after repeating the same letter some 50+ times, it becomes easier to recognise by the overall rhythmic impression. This is an excellent teaching method!

Man, you have hit pay dirt w/ respect to finding a great way to teach code . 35 years ago I struggled through 5 wpm w/ a very forgiving extra class instructor. I have finally made the breakthrough between hearing the code and writing the letter w/o picturing the dits and the dahs in between .

Many thanks to you ( HAM WHISPERER ) for creating the CW tutorial. An excellent guide for beginners and to those that are interested to learn Morse Code. Thanking you & 73s

Thanks Andy, this has been a great aid in gaining speed. Finally a course worth listening to and not touted to be the only way to learn. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for this series. This has helped organize morse in a way that is easier for me to understand. I found the first 2 lessons easy. The 3rd took a little longer and this one is my stumbling block as Sevin7000 found a year ago :) Even though they are completely "backwards" I get my K's and R's mixed up and sometimes a D or W goes where it shouldn't. This will be a lesson I review at least once a day for a few days before I move on to the next one.

I like the method, it works well. I find I get the rhythm better by playing at 1.25 speed. Rather than count the dots and dashes and try to refer to a mental library, I find it easier to recognise the rhythmic sound of each letter.

Wow. Judging from the comments here, this lesson is suppose to be a real horror. However, if one can master lesson 2, one can conquer anything.

half way through I started getting them both backwards. I think our brains go "hey, that's the one with three sounds and only the one in the middle is different" and pattern matching becomes our doom

The first grouping after the group of 'k' words, around about 7:00 minutes in, is it "K, K, K AND K" or "K,K,K,N,K" that he is saying? Great lessons these, thank you, I would never have been able to get this far without them!
