The amount of models at this huge show incredible so only a fraction of what was on show is show here. It really was a great day out and could of spent a fortune at the trade stands. I managed to resist getting too much to carry. A huge box with my self Christmas gift kit 05:48 and a few other thigs I needed. This is only the 2nd time I have been to this show and hopefully I will get there again.

Thanks Calvin I thought you would enjoy watching this one There was so much to see I could of spent another couple of hours looking round but had to set off home. It was rather scary with all those Daleks around but I did not see anyone exterminated LOL

Thank you Crabbers The crashed cars caught my eye as well. Really skilfully damaged. I am more into civilian models like these than the numerous military vehicles and after looking up the Revell fire truck at 12:31 saw it was a kit I did not have so that's on order now

I tend to do 1/76 scale. I do a lot of military including fire appliances however, I make banger cars from scratch. I like the bangers as there is plenty of fun to be had. New subscription from me buddy. Looking forward to seeing the next one.

@@crabbersuniquescalemodels9996 I used to go to BRISCA F1 and made a few of those cars from scratch in 1:76 scale. It was seeing your fire appliance icon I mentioned buying the Revel kit. Most videos are railway related but I do put a few of my model work on, and some shows I go to.

Awesome! The detail on those star wars speeders with all the gauges was incredible. I take it the 2 steam locos are what you got for yourself? A good many of the models i would have guessed were die cast. 👍😊❤

Thanks Dave Yes the Sci fi stuff I really like. Lots of Star Wars with superb detail I wish I had more time to look round cos I see things on the video I had not noticed LOL. I have those steam locos but the one I got was the blue electric, It is fantastically detailed, I saw one last year on Ebay but only Japanese instructions, I asked before buying and the guy checked said this has English as well. It will not be a quick build I have so many other things on the go. I am slowly building your coal loader and got a bit more L section for that cos I don't think I had enough.

@@ccrx6700 I found on here there is a guy in Japan who has built it and uploaded short videos with subtitles so I will sure get some good tips from those. He looks to be a good model maker

Good film!, That Airfix display, brought back memories when i could afford to buy kits, what was it around 15p for a 1/72nd! lol!

Thank you Keith Yes the kits are a lot more these days. I remember a series 1 kit in a plastic bag was 14 to 17p in Woolworths when I started making models in 1972. Having said that my main interest in model railways has just gone crazy. £300 to £400 is a lot to ask when I got a huge over 1000 part kit for £185, which will keep me occupied some time building, and will be a nice display where a locomotive with maybe 40 to 50 parts just does not seem like value for money anymore. There is no quality control these days and the number of times I have seen people taking things back to the shop is off putting. There are some fantastically detailed kits now which have so many mouldings to design and make. I just do not get how a locomotive coach or wagon can be so costly to make.

I’m a bit worried about the person who built the Israeli bulldozer. What’s he going build next. A 35 scale model of the ovens of auschwitz?

War is an awful thing and I much prefer to model things of peacetime myself, but I do like some military vehicles, If I were to build a bulldozer I would build one for a construction site. Some models are historical records of vehicles like the German tanks and although current that bulldozer shows, like the older vehicles, what has been used against humans in war. I am sure someone will of built a model of those ovens and a pile of bodies being bulldozed. My favourite model was Nigel Mansell and his car at 17:03
