Mr Bosskey, I would like to disagree on your outlook about this episode involving Sai Kishore and the TN coach. All this boils down to a more cliched statement that "cricket is a captain's game". With the way this sport has grown over the last decade, we may have to rethink about the captain alone being the most powerful person in the team. There is a reason teams and cricket board invest in bringing position level trainers, coaches and most importantly an head coach. Let us only speak about what happened at 9 am on that morning of TN vs Bombay semi finals. I have a question for you - prior to the toss, "IF" a collective decision was to bat first if the toss is won do you think it is okay for any captain to do the exact opposite? Given that is exactly what happened, both you and many other former and present cricketers want to play the optics by saying that this has to be spoken within 4 walls and not spoken outside. In most other sport, coaches are just as powerful as anyone else in the team. It is about time cricket takes that approach in order to prevent an high handed approach that cricket captains from the sub continent feel entitled. Now you can take this game and spin it and ask questions the way you did on this interview and each one of those questions are valid ones. But my question to you is, was Sai Kishore okay to over rule what was decided and agreed upon? You say Yes and I say No.

Boskey is like kamal...appadiyum irukkalaam, ippadiyum irukkalaam...kuzhapavaadhi. vettu onnu thundu rendunu pesuviyaa... Sai Kishore's decision at the toss was a big blunder. 1.Was a green wet pitch 2. Coach was from mumbai and knows the conditions inside out and he asked u to bowl first winning the toss. 3. U have picked 3 pace bowlers in the 11 to make best use of the conditions when u bowl winning the toss. TN may still have lost choosing to bowl first...but toss decision is a BIG mistake. Mudhal konnal mutrum konnal...that is exactly what the coach said in the interview and he is right. Adha vuttutu Ashwin axar opening bowl panna enna pannradhu ... U control only things that are in ur hands...like u have won the toss and u make the right decision dictated by the conditions.

What the coach said is absolutely wrong. He is not a perfect coach. Toss doesn't decide the match. Tn batting collapses and lack of bowling support to Sai caused the match loss. If you don't remove the lower order batsman quickly then it will create a problem when you score low in the 1 innings. Fast bowler doesn't tired anything in that match. That's where experience comes in if you see bumrah he will mix the pace, go for Yorker or bouncer. No problem these fast bowlers will learn in future

Fixing batters failure to coach is funny Mr. Bosskey. Captain and Coach are not islands who are distanced in any sports. I hope there would have been discussion and inputs shared for decision making. My only concern is that 'why would a captain go against a decision made through discussion and review." Blame game is not good for the team either. Only mistake by the coach is doing it in "public" and the way he went about explaining the whole 'fiasco'. Hats Off to TN team though for making it despite the absence of many stars. Sai as a player and captain has been good but a poor judgement. Ajith Ram along with Sandeep Warrier also made in roads to support the team. Not to forget Mr. Persistence (Warrior) Baba Indrajith for bailing out the team on multiple occasions. Best wishes for the upcoming season.

The fact this player could not read the pitch makes one think he shd not captain aside even if he is a good player also at this level he should take the views of the coach who is a very experienced veteran player high time like in foot ball coach becomes supreme
