International School of Louisiana, Uptown, Circus Arts, Fabulous Fortnight 2024

For Fabulous Fortnight 2024 the Circus Arts students explored "Why the Rainforest Matters" - and what it takes to be an Orang Sehat - a Healthy Person.
Highlights included visiting Couturier Forest and doing handstands among the trees, harvesting & tasting cucumbers at Grow Dat Youth Farm, taste testing yoghurts made from extremophile fungi "Nature's Fynd", cow's milk, and cashew milk, fruit fest with mangoes and durian, planting microgreens, and visiting Empire Gymnasium, as well as learning about amazingly smart orangutans, and how trees communicate through mycelium networks underground.
