This game was awesome! Despite its age this game has something many modern games lack; excitement. Even the pregame menu gets you pumped. The crowd's chants were catchy and exciting. I went to a professional soccer match on Sunday and kept wanting to hear this chant. It's engrained in my mind forever.

Man the memories. The level of detail in this game was truly outstanding for its time, a really pionneering titel in so many respects for the era : replays with rewind/forward control, variable and more importantly, DYNAMIC crowd noises intelligently changing with the field situation (which was a first if I recall correctly for any soccer game), a very credible AI for your own team as well the opposing one, and of course, there was GOAL, GOAL, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL xD PS : There was a very simple and systematically efficient technique to outmaneuver the extremely skillful goal in this game and score a hit, no matter the team/difficulty level: You just had to stop sprinting once close enough to him, he would then run towards you to try plunging and grabbing the ball : the moment he started running, you just had to change direction and spring again : he would ALWAYS plunge in the wind, and your way to the goal would be wide open. Often scored 10 goals in a row with that little trick :p

if you turn away from player as they are trying to get ball they SOME times give penalty. you can score from corner with certain players and half way if you bend the ball ;) its my favourite footy game ever ..lol
