It was a pleasure to host a Mumbai U16s XI at the Old Saw Mill to play a game against a mixed side of Sanderstead juniors. Some great talent on display from the Indian youngsters and a T20 match played in great spirit.

Well played both teams. SCC were very disciplined though with their bowling. Amara’s two wickets made me throw my hands in the air. The second one in particular was sensational because of tight line and length and then capped off by Chris’ catch. What a grab that was! Quality wicket keeping!

Great Match, love from India... My son is the youngest player in the Indian team, just 11 years, the young off spin bowler. He has been one of the highest wicket taken in this series .Sanglaap Basu , took 3 wickets each against Slough CC and Hampton school

Bloody good game and good standard. Amara looks the real deal, expect to see her in England colours at some point in the future. A big fan of the Steve Smith calling. And there’s definitely an aura when a player comes out with stained pads like the Mumbai number 4, immediately knew the kid was going to be very good

Exactly - though don’t tell anyone that our average age was a bit higher than theirs 😂. To be fair, we knew that our u16s vs theirs would have been a big mismatch, so both sides did well to have a relatively close match.
