Talent Hub South Savo project is matching companies suffering from labor shortages and migrant job seekers already living in the province. Through five videos, good recruitment experiences from different industries are presented and employers are encouraged to hire employees based on motivation and commitment. Finnish language skills are best developed by doing and working. In the province of Etelä-Savo, employees are needed especially for production or performing work, e.g. for installation work, nursing and factory work. Companies in the province have a constant need for recruitment, but only half of the jobs are open in public! You can find the rest through mouth to mouth and networks, but non-Finnish speakers rarely find them. The companies in South Savo suffering from a labor shortage listed the following as the most important prerequisites for job seekers with foreign languages: professionalism, motivation and initiative.
