Wow!, for me, this must rank as one of the best videos Angela has ever made. Spectacular scenery, an ever present Mt Fuji, gentle interaction with local Japanese vendors, and as always a true representation of what makes Japan so beautiful and so fascinating. Thank you, Angela for a lovely Christmas present. In addition, you gave us a masterclass in acting, pretending to be scared on the roller coaster?, not our Angela, a true warrior, fearless, and with the samurai spirit.Thank you young lady for your skill, for your creativity and allowing us to share your view of the most beautiful parts of Japan. Ganbarimashitane!, as always.

Mt.Oyama is one of my favourite places in Japan, because it was my first trekking in Japan. Famous think in Oyama is climbing the mountain and reaching the top. In Fuji, we have many things to do. I am making the list of places which you have not covered. 1. Climbing the Fuji during the summer. 2. Kawaguchi lake and near by sight seeing places 3. Hot springs 4. Many sight seeing places from Otsugi to Kawaguchi. 5. Mt.Takao, 18Km trekking from Mt.Takao to Mt.Jimba

Could I suggest a visit to Okawachiyama Village just outside of Imari. It's not only the birthplace of Imari pottery it is one of the most beautiful villages you could imagine. Be lovely to see it given the IM treatment. Arita itself is the birthplace of Japanee porcelain and the prefecture of Saga is one I can't quite recall getting a visit from you, having read up there's Himeji Castle and no doubt many other places you may be able to dig up for us.

Fuji is on a fence, most likely it's dead, but considering Japan and so many active volcanoes you can't rule out the possibilities.
@professorsogol58245 жыл бұрын
Your camp site on Lake Motosu looks to be near the Fuji view point shown on the back if the thousand yen note. Also, the falls at Shiraito are formed by water trapped between an older, more impervious volcanic fan laid at least 20 thousand years ago and a younger more permeable lava flow on top laid down some 12 thousand years ago. (There is no surface river feeding these falls.) The springs at Oshino-hakkai on the northern slope of Mt Fuji is another example of water coming to the surface after percolating underground for an unknown number of years (but contaminants indicate some of it is recent).
