Weird strategy from Armenian team, why at last lift they try 213 if with 207 he may win a gold medal on total, i don't understand why they did it
@Nikodhemus5 жыл бұрын
No, he snatched 160, so a 207 c&j would give him 367 total. Okulov had 372, Khasadevich had 371. He needed 213. 207 would be gold in the jerk, not the total.

the 89kg group is much weaker than the 81kg group lol. I cant even imagine how much Tian Tao wouldve destroyed them all if he went to 89 instead of 96

Mueller Nikolaï a lot of these guys were carrying injuries as well. They are also being more careful to cycle of the roids before competition so they don’t get popped
@muellernikolai86306 жыл бұрын
and ? the 81's have to cycle off as well. I guess it's because as 89kg isn't an olympic category all the serious lifters went to either 81 or 96
@prep07636 жыл бұрын
Mueller Nikolaï I wouldn’t necessarily say these weren’t serious lifters. Unfortunately since the weight classes changed a lot of these guys aren’t gonna be able to drop or go up as the change in body weight would be too extreme for them. Unless your tian Tao lol. But you had 2 former world champions in the 85 class so I wouldn’t call this a “weak” class.

@@prep0763 what do you mean , they cant get stronger??
@prep07633 жыл бұрын
@@Nohname not saying they cant but lets take artem okulov from russia a former world champ at 85. hes had a few knee injuries so to drop down to 81 wouldve been too much and to go up to 96 also wouldve been daunting. its a tough call as an athlete and a coach especially since they've been in the sport for a long time already and to have a drastic improvement in their mid to late 20s just isn't likely. not impossible, just not likely.
