In 1998 my parents took child me to buy a used Chevy Cavalier and the salesman only spoke to my dad even though my mom was the one who managed the finances. He guided us to a white sedan and told my mom they should buy it because it "matched her coat". Absolute scrotum of a man.
@misanthrophex18 күн бұрын
well... does your mom understand cars? it doesn't matter who "managed the finances". Because usually it's men who understand more, it's only natural. Just like it would make more sense if a salesman spoke to the wife if we're talking about some kitchen or cleaning appliances. It's just how life is. While I don't conform to anything myself, I can perfectly see why things are the way they are... Try catching yourself if you feel you're getting offended and truly think about it. Most of the time we feel offended is not because our pride was hurt, but because we're arrogant. Happens to everyone though. Take it easy, it's so much better in life when everything is just so light and flows smoothly.

Bought a car recently - shopped around a little and ended up going w what was my original second choice because the Audi dealership salesperson was so straightforward. She gave me all the info I needed, told me her lowest price, was available for any questions, and helped me get it done quick at the price I wanted to be at. In contrast, the first place I went was totally pushy - thirsty dudes prowling the parking lot and licking their chops as I pulled in. For the record, I was ready to rock w cash - not only did they lose that sale, but I know I’m going to Evelyn directly for the next one, which I’m planning to pick up before the year is over. This has always been my approach in sales as well - be straight up, honest, do what you say you’re going to, don’t play games, and if you feel something isn’t a fit for a customer, be honest about it. Meet people where they are, and remember that someone is choosing to spend their time - and considering spending their money - with you. Also, if you’re selling something that doesn’t suck, there’s nothing to hide - your job becomes about making the transaction easy and adding confidence to the buyer’s decision. It is truly not rocket science. You do not need a sales trainer, lol.

Papa really makes me glad that someone isn't afraid to call guys like this chud out in simple terms they can understand. Don't get upset, don't try to prove these people wrong, they don't care about the facts, let's get back to schoolyard shit-talking. I sold cars for 3 1/2 years before getting into the construction business. I started when I was 20 and quit when I was 24. I was the top salesman 2 out of the 3 full years I worked there. All I did was just be nice, use active listening, and empathize. Everybody just wanted to be treated with respect. This guy is teaching you not only how to disrespect your customers, but also yourself.

The picture of him stealing content from Jocko is like the best message about these types of people. Jocko is a Former Navy Seal, Manimal who burns everyday like its his last. All these people wish they could be like "Alpha" Jocko but they don't have the character to be. So they larp instead.

I think that eveyone should go to Alpha Males' comment sections and leave them links to Omegaverse Fanfiction. That would take care of the problem because they'd either knock it off out of sheer horror or they'd knock it off because they're embracing their authentic selves and they'd be happier. Also, the scientist who came up with the whole Alpha Male thing via studying wolves has spent more time debunking his results because he realized that his experiment was flawed.

Dude what? You think some people have secret furry fantasies and they cover it up being an alpha male? Cope harder
self identifying as an alpha is one of the most cringey, ironic, and completely detached things a guy could do.

I'm a 5'1" woman, with big breasts and a short curvy body. I'm 130 pounds, but it works for me because I'm a head foreman for a landscaping company and I move 4-10 tonnes of rock, dirt, mulch and boulders by hand every day, 5 days a week, for the past 8 years. I don't have a 6 pack, I actually am kinda thick. But I'm stronger than any woman I've ever met. My body adapted to doing what I do 10 hours a day 6 days a week (I do extra jobs on weekends for family and friends for free). There's a difference between working out to look nice and actually working hard and being strong. Strength comes with a realistic lifestyle to use that strength, and strong people don't look like muscle builders. But we have stamina and strength that's unmatched because we do this for a living. Rich business guys don't need to be strong to make a living. But ranchers, loggers, oil field workers, landscapers, construction workers, we do this shit for a living. If you look up the world's strongest people you'll see they don't have six packs. They have bellies and fat and are thick individuals. Because the body needs fat along with muscle to sustain a daily physically hard working lifestyle. Looking pleasing and being actually strong are two different things. I'm the only woman in my profession because this shit is blood sweat and tears on a daily basis. And I don't make much but the pride I have for becoming the head foreman in a tough male dominated labor workfeild is priceless to me. I don't have a six pack but this dude wouldn't last 2 days working for us. I'm gunna start uploading videos of myself at work if y'all are interested. I'm proud of what I do because it's not for the weak

A huge part of true strength is 'core strength'. It's building all the little control muscles throughout the body, and like you say, you can only build those muscles through actual physical labour. I work with a few landscapers (I'm a steel fabricator) and landscaping is tough bloody work, but it builds a lot of strength. Look after your skin though. The sun sure takes it's toll
