here’s the truth: everyone, and I mean EVERYONE including knetz, kfans, and ifans were calling for justice but failed to address it at its core. x1 disbanded and to them that was justice. how is ruining the lives and careers of these young boys justice? the core of this entire situation is cj enm and mnet. like one of the lawyers said, cj and mnet must be held accountable because they profited the most from survival shows. but were they held accountable? no. x1 disbanded and people said “that’s enough justice for me!” while cj and mnet stay unaffected. they apologized and said they weren’t continuing with survival shows, and now mnet are doing MULTIPLE survival shows and cj is doing one with big hit. this isn’t justice. the root of the problem is still thriving and cj/mnet are still making the same mistakes but of course no one cares about that. the truth is x1 were breaking records and people felt threatened so their disbandment satisfied them. for some reason people love seeing careers fail and idols fall. it’s really telling about a person’s character when they care more about destroying an innocent person’s career rather than holding the companies accountable that cause all this mistreatment and chaos. x1 always have and always will deserve better and i’ll never stop saying it.

Daniela Núñez i never said their disbandment was justified, I just stated that there were other things that may have lead to the decision of disbandment. It’s not about who deserve it more is about who was voted by the public to be in the group and some of them were not. They were literally ban from many music shows and couldn’t attend awards because of situation. I don’t believe the decision of disbandment was simple one ( think in consideration the amount of money they can loose by disbanding a popular group), they though and put many things in prospective and cane to that conclusion. Of course the members are not at fault but it’s hard in this situation bring justice.

You kinda ran over the important part on how that 'meeting' ended up with IZONE continuing but X1 disbanding. It wasnt just some apparent outcome, they actually released a very detailed report on how it all went down. As you've said CJENM gathered all the company representatives of each members from both groups to vote with only one clear instruction: the group will continue if the votes are unanimous. Unfortunately, the companies of X1 members didnt have a unanimous vote while IZONE's did. In fact, in the middle of the meeting for X1, CJENM suggested to invite the boys to voice out their opinions, but some companies declined. One of the companies that voted for X1 to continue even suggested that they could maybe atleast release a farewell song since they've already started recording for a new album, but again some companies declined. Apparently, these companies thought that because X1 is still new, it's better to just walk away from it, so that the controversy doesn't stick to their artists' image. Also, the members haven't even signed the contracts yet so it was an easy process to break up the group. In IZONE's case, the meeting reportedly wrapped up fast and smooth. Because IZONE is an older group, they've already signed their contracts and compared to X1 which is solely owned by CJENM, IZONE is a partnered venture between CJENM's Mnet and AKS/Vernalossom, their japanese company. This makes the process of attempting to break up IZONE legally and financially harder cause CJENM cant just make decisions alone. Also while X1 was only in the process of recording for a new album before the controversy blew up, IZONE already had a full-length album done from recording to photoshoots, to mv, to physical productions. Too much money's already been invested in IZONE that disbanding them would only lead to more losses.

also, -minhee and hyeongjun are promoting with cravity a boy group under starship -hangyul and dohyun promoted in a unit called H&D they also will probably re-debut in MKB's soon to debut 9 member boy group -eunsang had a photobook and did a song cover but sadly there hasn't been much news about what dongpyo and junho are up to. but they are still probably training for a future re-debut in their respective companies. according to Kelsey Salazar, junho has photoshoots with other woolim trainees and is seen in woolim’s newest mv. dongpyo is seen in cover video with DSP Trainees. it still makes me cry whenever someone mentions X1 because they were the group that became the key to me liking kpop. if it wasn't for them, i wouldn't know much groups and so much good music. when i say that they changed my life, they really did. i was so proud to be called a "one it" and i still am to this day. i was so excited for that 5 years with them, you know, to grow up with them and see them shine and fly high. i told myself "i'll buy their albums to support them. i'll buy their official lightstick as well so when they come here in the philippines, i'll be waving that lightstick as i chant their names." to say that made me so happy. then the scandal happened. they were so ready to promote more songs. they were ready for a comeback. we could've had a comeback now. but no. that 5 years with X1 became 5 months. at first, i got so mad with IZ*ONE but soon realized that they do deserve to continue because they've promoted so much already. they might as well continue their promotion as IZ*ONE because they deserve it. i love my girls and want to see them flourish as they do with every comeback. X1 deserved to continue on as well but having them as a rookie group with a bad rep (because of the produce scandal) within the community, it would be bad because people will talk about it AS they promote their every comeback. it would not only hurt the group, but also their fans. X1 and One Its fought a long, tearful, and hard fight. We did everything to protect them, but to CJ ENM, it wasn't enough. It never was. But I'm proud of our community. I'm proud to call One Its as my first family. I know we deserve a unit with our boys (who haven't debuted to a new group or have been re-branded to a new group/unit) but as of right now, let's continue to support our boys. They're still our X1 boys and for the time-being, let's support whatever their company does with them. Maybe in the near future, we'll get that X1 Unit we rightfully deserve. One Its, let's fly high and keep our heads up!

Watching this brought up a whole bunch of emotions I thought I buried a while ago... I miss X1 and I hate that they had to disband. As a fan, and many others, I felt more connected to the members due to the fact I’m that I watched their introduction videos, episodes of Produce X 101, and so on. Once I heard the news, I was beyond devastated. But the boys are now doing great on their own and I will support them with everything I have. In the mean time, I will hang onto that small hope that X1 could be revived again and they promote together once more. One its, fighting!

Now that the tears had stopped, a lot of thoughts and feelings I've locked away came back. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget all of the trials we faced and achievements we accomplished as fans. Trending on twitter daily, sending LED trucks to each of the 9 companies involved, putting up with CJ E&M, protesting even in the early days of COVID-19. Our wishes for the members united literally every type of international fan in so many shapes and forms that not even language was a barrier. Still, most of the said agencies couldn't even give us the time of day. All we wanted to know was if we had any hope for a unit with the boys. A simple yes or no question. A question that would have saved us a lot of time and pain if they had only answered it honestly. But as if to try and milk the fans' money as support for as long as possible they stayed quiet. Petition after petition, meeting after meeting, even the mass emailing and mass faxing and mass calling. It felt like they literally laughed in our faces, thinking that consumer opinion didn't matter. It hurts to be betrayed by something you've put time and effort into. We tried to show our willingness to support them but they couldn't even give us the straight answer we needed to move on. If they were not interested in pursuing a unit and they communicated that with us, fans, maybe we could have prepared to support the boys in their separate paths instead. But how can a fan, a consumer, ever really feel content with handing money over to a company who acts as if you don't matter? Not even acknowledge that they've heard your complaints and concerns? Even to this day, we are still hurt. and I don't think I'll ever be able to completely heal from this. I will always support the members, but probably not in the way I would have hoped to.

facts, even till this day I'm still crying. To think that I was there for them since the first day and was also there since the last day watching live stream through my phone, I voted for them, I laughed and cried with them. Even after the issue of rigged votes I was there, I was there sending emails to their agencies, but what did they do? nothing. After they decided to disband them we didn't get any response for the petitions. I don't think I would able to sleep peacefully again knowing we didn't say a fcking proper goodbye on each other. Everytime I remember them I can't help but to cry

The fact is almost impossible for x1 to regroup. Members come for different companies with their own planning. Some members already form a new groups. And they seem,thank god, already comfort with their new groups. So what we as fans can do is to support them wherever they are,whatever they do. Produce x 101 was the first produce series i watched and i immediately fell in love with all the boys. Ofc i'm sad about some of them not debuting but i was so happy for those who did! I knew I miss them, but I didn't know this much. At first I couldn't make myself watch any of their vids. I didn't watch any of their vids until the Dongpyo and Dohyun school vlog. I click and watch and I cried. I cried so much. I never knew that I miss them so much. They have a pt2 but right now I still haven't watch it, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it yet. I click on this vid thinking maybe I wouldn't cry, but just a few mins in I'm ald cryin. These bois are the first boy group I stan I love. I watched every single vid and listen every song. To me I don't stan easily and I only listen to kpop casually, but this group made me fell in love w/ them. 11 unique bois, their silliness, their charm, their talents. Until tdy I still say I'm a oneit and that I stan X1. I still check their MV regularly hoping we could read 100M before their debut date. Looking at how ppl in Korea is still protesting for their redebut, how ppl still love them still remember them. I can't express how happy that these bois are still love. I’m still bitter about how screwed over they were. They got so much slander and it all ended up being for nothing. PDX101 was the only season I had watched despite knowing about ioi wannaone and izone but x1 were the only ones I stanned HARD. I even joined fancafe for the first time for them.
