Easy Group Discussion Tips for College Students | GD Tips and Techniques

Group Discussion (GD) is an important part of job and internship selection. This video helps freshers, college students, and recent graduates prepare for GDs on Internshala.
Keep these tips in mind during GD round and get hired!
1. Understand the GD topic clearly. This will help you to think of the points and to speak them with clarity.
2. To support your points, take use of examples, facts, and figures. This will show that you have a good knowledge of the subject.
3. Allow others to talk. Remember it is a group activity and everyone should get a chance to speak. You will not be evaluated only on your individual performance but your performance in a group.
4. Listen carefully and take notes while others are speaking. This way, even if you're not familiar with the topic, you can use their cues to frame your own point.
5. Most importantly, speak politely during the gd, even if you disagree with someone’s views. This will show that you are respectful towards others’ opinions.
