I'm very sorry for you, but the Interpol bassist left about 15 years ago. The song you are listening to is not played by him. He will never come back and from what you can hear from 2007 onwards, after his replacement, the bass lines have dropped significantly in quality.

They need to bring the bassist into the fold....Carlos is not coming back and he has earned his chops. You do not want to set up a Jason Newsted sort of issue when everyone knows he is pulling his weight but does not see him as a member of the band...sort of like like all the guys who have played and been excellent with with Depeche Mode but no one can identify them.. just saying...
