Great work. Antics is a great album from start to finish. I look forward to your Interpol bass covers. Carlos was working on another level for their first couple albums. His style of syncopation on, especially, Turn on the Bright Lights, is really interesting.

Thank you so much! Carlos had a unique approach to bass, I think he was kinda selfish in a way, he didn't try to make "supportive" bass lines, they often stand out but at the same time feel very organic in the song. But Paul is surprisingly good on bass too :)

@@basscapist You're definitely right about the style of bass that Carlos was playing. I do think that they had a strange sweet spot that isn't commonly heard in popular music. Unfortunately it was only prevalent in the early albums. I think we all know about Carlos and his disposition about his place in the band. Unfortunate. He was a gifted bassist. Much like yourself. Thanks for these covers. You do a great job of them.

Carlos Dengler is kind of a James Jamerson of 00s Indie Rock. What a catchy bass lines he played -- I can't believe he quit playing bass in Interpol, maybe because he weary of it!! You, girl, have a good musical taste playing this lines. Well done!!
