When I feel like I’m the only crazy person living this new Interpol album so intensely, right after seeing them live one month ago, waking up at night with their chords in loop in my brain and crying my soul feeling so lucky to be alive while I listen to these songs, like I was in need of them to heal and they finally came to me… I read all these youtube comments and I feel so home… We’re all a big Interpol family, feeling exactly the same, even though we don’t know each other. But we’re all here, all connected through this powerful and genious band. We only want to be happy through music. I’ve never thought I would feel an album like this again anymore. I’m so grateful, Interpol. I would die happy

Their music has gone from adorably post-punk to a little more sophisticated with keys and synth over the last 20 yrs or so. I dig it all. These Bros are badass. The lyrics tend to be a little macabre, at times, right in my wheelhouse, along with the vocabulary of it. It is all very intelligent material. I like to CHEW my music and find a level with the lyricist. Never been disappointed here. Just enough angst... and unmitigated intelligence, timeliness. In spades!

Interpol have been my favourite band for two decades. I used to play the new to my baby while she was in my belly. Shes 21 now. This song is my favourite song ever. It grabs your brain and sort of drags you along for a few minutes. Its absolute perfection. Its kinda nice having an empty nest sometimes. I can play songs on repeat 😂

Honestly, the bass line on this gives me the feels so much. Especially 1.14 on is just the sweetest thing I've heard and I'm just hooked. Such a great song. Beautiful! So intense, so sentimental, but in a true and authentic way. Every part in the right place, swinging like a brain after a punch, but in the right place. Amazing flow and arrangement. About the voice: it´s a tradution of the sound from Ullysses heart burning almost in silence when he arrived again in Ithaca, after many years, watching silently the monstrous power of lie and all the pain condensed, carrying a small and precious fire into the heart beats; the fire of resignation: resignation of who will go until the end, keeping the small fire on, in a slow, careful and predesinated way, but around an abyss. Every part in the right place, despite the caos, despite the fear. A masterpiece, guys! . Um grande abraço from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)!

He sido un fan aserrimo de la banda desde sus inicios .No se trata de que el disco sea bueno o malo ,pero No siento la misma conexión que tuve con los demás discos hasta elpintor. .Es triste que no me.haya gustado como lo esperaba. Rescato la bateria de todo el disco , Sam tiene una gran capacidad de adaptacion ; "into the night".es la única canción que he repetido una y otra vez. A quienes les gusto este album quisiera saber sus razones .

OK... not gonna lie. My hearing SUCKS. Do I hear something similar to railroad crossing sounds, especially in the second rendition of the chorus?
