One of the best drummers I've seen. He was inches from giving up on music before he joined Interpol, so he definitely has a "no bullshit" style. It's testament to the rhythm section especially that they could actually make some noise with what are very dark, brooding songs... they are to post-punk as MGMT is to disco.

I love it when bands can actually sound good live too. I almost dislike concerts because so many bands sound so different live, it is not the stuff I have come to like from their albums. Thank you Interpol for being the same live as you are on albums. :) LOVE IT.

I remember the first time I heard this (and no it wasn't on a perfume advert). I just remember thinking "oh, so this is what to be cool truly means." A brilliant song. If you get time check out Lucid Rivers.

This is one of the first interpol songs i heard, i remember thinking "WTF! AWESOME" now im a huge Interpol fan and have heard all their work and this became one of my least favourite songs, but this performance still blows me away, so fucking solid!

From New York with love...to the whole world. Interpol is the band that pull us (new yorkers)out of our shitty state of mind, right after 9/11. They were a big part in the healing process that the city went through...It felt good to see that the city had this great band destined to be internationally acclaimed..

i didn't always know about Interpol to be honest, but I started to try and learn how to play guitar about a year ago and this song was one of the first songs in this article i was reading. So after i heard it i loved it and then playing it was a whole other experience of awesomness
