Not only was Victor Mature a great actor but beautiful to look at. This movie was not the best I have seen but was still very entertaining and enjoyable. Trevor Howard also gives an excellent performance as a villain. Very glad to see this movie.

Born in 1949 I remember this plane. I believe it is a Douglas DC7B. A year or two later the de Havilland Comet revolutionized transatlantic air travel and the Douglas DC dominated US Domestic air travel for a decade + with the 7. This plane was still flying passengers until around 1981. It was the workhorse like the 737 is today.

Thanks for the upload, never saw this one before, nor did I see Trevor Howard so sardonic and mean. The plot doesn't alwayw makes sense (an otherwise so elusive criminal so clumsy at the receiving end etc.) but nevertheless, very entertaining to watch.

Mature was a great character actor: He always played any character as the same character! Very honest interpretation of scripts, like others who didnt really act great-Sterling Hayden, Cornell Wilde, George Raft, Audie Murphy, Bronson, Lee Marvin etc. People liked genuineness and brave talent.
