Quarter year wouldn't be the answer because a quarter year is just 1/4 a year, or in other words, each quarter year would mean it's increasing 4 times each year or compounding 4 times each year.

sir, if you just consider the value of (q) as =1,2,3... then we get the value is rising by 15 every time. so that means he is gaining 15 subscriber in every 3 months or quadrant year. if you just multiply 15 with 4 = 60 . so he gains 60 subscriber in a year . ANS(B) kindly anyone correct my flaw, thank you.

his subs are not increasing by 60 EVERY year,its only the initial year because 60 is 6% only of the first year

This would not be the case. 1 raised to any power greater or equal to 0 is 1. So what you said would be 1000 * (1) + 1000 * (0.06)^q/4 And the 0.06 means it decreases by 94% every 4 quarter years because it is only 0.06 of the value
