I’m hoping in 2 years the used car market will be better cuz by then I can get something for trading in my 2014 Camaro lt and get a 5th gen SS. 6th gens are cool and the interior is much better, but I think the 5th gens look better on the outside and that matters more to me plus 5th gens are a decent amount cheaper so I won’t have to pay an arm and a leg lol

They're pretty affordable now. I want a 6th gen, but may just get a 5th gen because a lot are going for uppers 20s with low mileage

If it tells u anything just got a 2015 Camaro 2ss. Leather seats,heated seats sun roof all that stuff for 23k and it has 60k miles on it. It was babied by an old guy who traded it in for a brand new one. I would say compared to what they used to be it’s worth it. The ls3 is amazing. If u get an auto u have the l99 which is the exact same it just has DOD which is garbage but u can get a delete and cam kit from Texas speed for 1k. U don’t eeven have to get a crazy cam just a small one that can be used with stock converter. I would say the cars are well worth it

6th gens have nicer interiors but honestly 5th gens stay true to the muscle car look. When people think of a camaro they either think of a 1969 camaro Or a 5th gen.

I think a huge upgrade for your interior would be that new digital ocotopus radio that just came out the screen is pretty massive compared to the mylink screen but it isn't too big and it has carplay, android auto and a ton of features that aren't normally accessible, definitely my next upgrade

Nice car man! Looks good, sounds good. You’re making way more than 450 crank hp for sure. You’re 420 from the factory, so I’d say you’re at about 470 crank/390 to the wheels. I have a l99 with all the same mods making 375whp/390tq

Man those coilovers made a night and day difference. I commented on one of your older videos about how the wheels looked to be poking out of your car. Now that it's lowered they look more flush and the ride looks mean. It must be the camber change when the car sits lower. It freaking beautiful ! Your friend hooked you up.

I got a 2012 SS auto ( mine with the factory tune only made 367 whp) I got mine with a 95mm fast TB 1 7/8 headers cat delete 3 inch exhaust and a K&N intake I’m making 443 whp on 93 and I did add a wide band O2 sensor that is one of the biggest deals before that I was only making 425 whp it helped dial in the tune

It's not the clutch that sticks it's the clutch pedal that sticks it tends to drop then you have to manually pull it up with your hand if you've been dogging it all day, I would recommend just putting a higher boiling point brake fluid in the reservoir, seems to help in my Camaro

Hey I gotta question bro I’m planning on putting on these BBK longtube headers and I wanted to go straight piped as well but I was wondering when I go to the shop to have it done what exactly do I tell him. Currently I only have a muffler delete but the rest of my car is stock. Also I was wondering to get a car straight piped do I have to buy pipes or are they basically cutting the Oem pipes ?

You might need to splice and weld the oem pipes. I have 3inch pipes from the headers to the inlet of the tips. They are basically custom pipes at this point.

Nah man the light will stay off unless you tune it out I think. But it doesn't bother me at this point. I'm waiting to do more significant engine mods to tune.

Hey bro can you recommend a good clutch for the 5th gen? Just something to replace the oem one. All the forums I've read go back and forth between only a few different options and I'd rather have a person to person response from a more recent experience, being yourself.

Luk makes a good oem replacement clutch. I have about 55k on it, along with a stage III cam in it for the last 15k.

It needs a cam, no excuse not to cam an ls3, it's easy and cheap. I just cammed my L99, put ls7 lifters in, che trunnions, btr stage 2 cam, uprated pushrods etc etc. Totally transforms the car to be what it should've been in the first place
