Right now I am in deep grief over the passing of a close friend , someone whose family has always felt like my family. I've known him for 45 years. And suddenly he's gone. But I found myself laughing when she said her dad was from Kentucky. There were many times I laughed and I am more than thankful. I know someday life will get back to normal but until then, these moments will help heal my heart.

She doesn’t sound so sensible to me, with her religious stuff and hatred of pornography. And I bet the same kind of opinions can be found in people throughout this country - they’re the same people who are trying to stuff their beliefs down all of our throats, using changes to our legal system.

@@Ceerads I like how you're ignoring how her faith carried her through her struggle to bash religion. Not to mention porn really doesn't benefit anyone except the ppl who make it and even then it comes at a cost. And as it goes for the rule making bit I agree but it's a reaction to how they were treated when more "liberal" powers took control.

That was a different time. Up until the 90’s it wasn’t uncommon for doctors to make parents “choose” their intersexed child’s gender to make it official on a birth certificate. They believed incorrectly that nurture (how you raised a child) trumped nature (chromosomes/physical/hormonal/brain chemistry). We now know it is so much more complex.

"To thine own self be true." has always been one of my favorite versus! I lived in Martinsville, IN (1965-1968) worked in Bloomington & Indy during those 3 years (WTTV, Indy School of Dentistry) so I really related to living in that state! She is an inspiration to all who don't believe in the power of prayer and that thru God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! She's living testimony to both! So thankful she didn't give up and "end" herself as many others would have done, but overcame her parent's brutality, her husband's sickness and gave back to the world and those less fortunate while bringing love and joy to all of those around her. Totally the most Unselfish, selfless, Christian I've ever heard in my entire life and I'm 78! She really needs to get someone to write her life story and then make a movie or mini-series out of it. These days we could all use a real-life story like Richelle's to help us keep going and to prove that God is the only way some of us are here today! She's another "turtle on the fence post" and I'm sure she'll understand what that represents. God bless her and her son (Erin) and may they continue to live in God's grace and have a long, healthy and prosperous life! 8/2024

I stumbled across this by "accident"...what an extraordinary and inspirational woman. She's had so much rubbish in her life but she's not ley it hold her back. Her faith, and knowing God loves her and had plans for her is just so challenging. I have nothing but admiration and respect for the way she has handled everything in such a gracious way. Thank you for sharing this. It's given me food for thought and I'm encouraged and grateful to God for coming across this.

Does anyone really tell the absolute truth about the sequence of their life? Most get it right but maybe somethings aren’t remembered perfectly. I know I had so much different experiences there is no way Id tell it all perfectly in an hour or whatever. I’m not gonna judge, or call her a liar or completely truthful either, for one thing I don’t know her personally,, live & let live people

So she was a nurse and says they had to lay her upside down to find a vein that had enough water in it????
@ddz1375
@ddz1375 4 ай бұрын
Should she have said that the lack of volumetric pressure was so prevalent that it necessitated her being suspended until gravity and pressure built up allowing for the insertion of a catheter and interveinious fluids to be administered? I think she would have lost most of the audience with that mouthfuls and came off as rather stuck up.

On average, blood is 51 percent water. And yes If you don't drink enough water unfortunately consistency of your blood changes. And because blood carries oxygen to all the vital organs it cannot realize its function of carrying oxygen due low water intake. Unfortunately we had to learn this the hard way with my 88 year old father who has COPD. And also lactation without pregnancy is possible. Do a basic google search.

I listened to this interview right after listening to the 72 year old only fans "girl" interview and was struck by both the similarity and stark contrast. The OF intervew left me feeling sad. The woman was disengaged with her family and community, with a life focused on making lots of money, with little regard for the fact that she was facilitating infidelity and compromising family relationships. It was striking that the two women had so much in common, probably about the same age, each with a son who has challenges, medical complications, career interruptions, etc. However, Richelle is living a purposeful life that is focused on making the world a better place. She is involved politically, with her community, her church, her family, and serves disadvantaged people. She has wisdom and truly cares about strengthening families and enriching lives. Please bring her back often! She inspires me to be a better person. What a beautiful story of grace, forgiveness, and purpose told by a strong, dignified, and beautiful woman.

I am also intersex. It is very hard to live your life with the weight of shame it carries. I don’t know what specific condition she has, but we all carry a lot of trauma. From awful doctors to our families being ashamed of us to the way society makes fun of us. It’s honestly radical and defiant that we continue to exist despite all this.

I gotta say, Mr.Laita, I've watched a few of your interviews, but this woman and the Amish lesbian are two human beings that make me shake most of my worries and discomforts of a disruptive life away. My worries and disturbances are miniscule compared to what these two women of tremendous inner strength have lived through. And I don't feel selfish for saying so, which at this point, I will consider a good thing. "Thank You!" for doing what you do.

Michelle , thank you for sharing I never heard of " intersex " that aside just going back to your memories i know is never easy but, you are helping others . You seem to be happy and I truly hope you are especially after all you endored. I do find it a blessing that you have your boy , your baby and he was given a loving caring soul. I don't know how old he is but, I do believe he's loved . We are all learning to live with being seniors and i think that people whom are born into a home with abuse and not recieving the care or necessities as others that we are robbed of our childhood and for the most part we are lead down a path called , " survival ", that by the time we are finally blessed our life is half over. Welll, I wish you well and know I will have you and your son within my prayers. Continued Blessings .. ❤

At what point did she become a nurse? (I thought she was a singer/actor.) Also, O negative blood does not have the Rh factor. Ten years in liver failure - hmm... So, 25 years as a missionary. Married for 17 years prior to that. Ten years in liver failure post transplant with a lengthy hospitalization and recovery in between those events. Fifty years in the entertainment industry before and after the above events. And, 2 psychology degrees working as a counselor to "nutty people". WOW.
