TF2 Casual is just a wasteland of bots right now, so I decided to check out some Typical Colors 2 (TC2)! My experience with it today was strange. Bad hitreg, lag, and a bunch of other things made me lose my mind while recording this video!

Roblox just has ping like that. This is genuinely the best possible Roblox version of TF2. The game isn't the problem, it's Roblox. At least they have update-sized updates and no bots in sight.

btw the reason why tc2 has such terrible hitreg is because roblox has some really bad delay on pretty much every action, so everything you're seeing happened like 3 seconds ago it also gets worse the faster the enemy is, so it often looks like complete bullshit when you get killed by scouts, charging demoknights or trolldiers

as someone who plays this game and roblox in general: yea I think people hitting you while turned around just roblox server shenanigans how things go for you when playing can really depend on the server especially in more resource intensive games (compared to the average roblox games) like TC2

Hit registration is client sided in the game (I think), so people with higher frames and lower ping will end up hitting even if it doesn’t seem like they should.

Soneones probably explained this already but im still gonna try and do so The reasoning for hits like that is because of how roblox itself handles hit registeation. Rather than how in most other game's, where its server side, Roblox is client side. Meaning that you could hut someone who looks to be infront of you, when on their screen their across the map. In summary: TC2 isnt at fault, its the Platform its on

Hey inter if you go to the map call lakeside ( i think) that is on the vsboss mode its rare if you be the boss you get the melee call mummy khopes if you kill king abrax btw if the map that looks like its red that means its rare some of them are not gonna give you anything oh yea and the map call pirate bay you can get the pirate stuff blah blah you get the idea

Some key points to say... 1. I play this game 2. The melee range is just that bad. 3. You have to jump when rocket jumping 4. The melee range "boost" only appears when the enemy does it 5. The max player count of one team is 12. 6. Every map is either the same as TF2, a bit different, or a completely new map 7. The reason why the melee ranges and hitrig seem off, it's roblox itself, not tc2, the roblox ping makes it look like on the victim screen that the one who killed them with their melee seems really far but on the screen of the one who killed, he's close on melee range, the same thing goes for hitrig, it looks like they may not be aiming at you all the time but they're really aiming at you, so yeah, that's roblox, the game tc2 itself is optimized

The problems you're having is Roblox's ping, which means what you're seeing on screen is delayed. Also, TC2's rocket-jumping is near-identical to TF2's, if not stronger and easier to pull off. :)

I’ve learned to stop complaining about melee hits from completely wrong directions. Agents will be 10 feet straight in front of you and still manage a backstab by just turning around. The only theory I can think of is that everyone is playing in the past and in the future simultaneously causing hits that make no sense whatsoever.
