As a young man I was so very drawn to his T V show. As a 73 year old I am so thankful for this wonderful wise and blessed man. I am an evangelical drawn back to the Catholic Church. Amen.

I realize you may never see these words I'm writing here because it appears you originally posted your comment about 6 months ago, (and if your memory is anything like mine then it's a lost cause😂😅,) but, there's always the possibility you'll see a KZbin notification *bell or *dot on your screen (*🔔or *🔴,) or.., you receive something likened to a *Divine nudge (*🕊) that'll carry you back to this page. The reason I'm hoping you see my comment is merely because I wanted to say "WELCOME HOME!" You might be wondering why I bothered to take any time out of my day just to say 2 words, (Welcome Home,) to a random stranger. The answer is quite simple. In imitation, (for lack of a better word,) of our Blessed Mother's "Magnificat," whenever I hear that someone was "drawn back to the Catholic Church," MY soul ALSO "proclaims the greatness of our Lord.., and my spirit REJOICES in God, our Savior!" So, that's it in a nutshell. I just wanted to express, as you did, my thankfulness to God for bestowing such wisdom & holiness upon Blessed Fulton Sheen, and PRAISE our LORD for using him to reach souls, drawing souls back to, (or drawing souls to convert to,) the One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Church! Once again, I say with all my heart and all sincerity; "WELCOME HOME!" ALLELUIA AMEN! J.M.J.

Archbishop Sheen, has wisdom which comes from his true love of Jesus Christ first and foremost spending time with Our Lord every day, may we all do the same and draw nearer to Our Lord as he did realizing Jesus is in the Holy Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, His Real Presence... @TheJoyoftheFaith Exactly he's the sort of fella I could have had a chat with, I remember here in Essex I look after an old Church from 1195, & in walks this old fella, so I get chatting & before long we talk about religion & his connection to this old Church then he tells me he was once the Catholic Bishop in these parts, we talk, one a Bishop one a novice but what we had in common was the faith, in life I love talking to folk I dont know, people high & low are just fascinating to talk with

Yes, he totally is a saint. I’m not waiting for the church to tell me that I know that already. I pray to him for intercession just like I do other things. And there’s plenty of saints up there that aren’t designated by the Catholic Church. I’m no longer going by that. Do you know about Corrie TenBoom? I say it, but she was not Catholic. Let’s stop thinking in a box and get out of the box. Bishop Sheen is a saint. Yes he is.

My father, a convert to the Church, loved him, so that I grew up on Life is Worth Living. I was fortunate to hear him preach at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. I worshipped often at the Shrine. Bishop Sheen was the only one who was such a great speaker that he actually used the acoustics of that large church to enhance his sermon--all others tried to fight, to their dismay. I still love listening to him. Thank you for this channel.

I am not a Catholic but I love what Bishop Fulton J Sheen showed me in such a wise and gel the approach.. He was not all fire and brimstone. and even once in a while he made a joke at we all laughed about. He had a way of showing and telling you things that others may spend years and not leave you with a clue of what they wanted you to know. If I had been older, I would have spent quite a bit more time listening to this wise and learned man, and to the information he was always sharing to all that wanted to hear. I am now older then he was buy Still learning each time I find on of his sermons.
