That, to me is a very narrow minded opinion, no offense. For 2 reasons: 1 of which is "good music" and "bad music" seems to be relative to the beholder. 2, in terms of complexity and composition, Frank Zappa is considered one of the best musical artists that ever lived and he never did drugs. I don't mean to compare Beach House with Frank Zappa because they are considerably different, but to say that "good music" requires good drugs (or simply drugs), to me, hurts the legitimacy of an "artist".

I really love Beach House. However, I've been attending their shows on/off in the past 10 years. To me they're a really boring live act. Every show I've seen, they just stand there, like statues. This year, they added a really nice light show, which definitely adds a lot of power the show. However ... they still just stand there. Doin' nothing. Not sure I want to see them again.
