It refers to the mentality and integrity of these young men and women who attend the University of Michigan to play sports but also follow through on earning their degrees! Most players who return for their senior year of eligibility have already graduated. These young men are kept to high standards. I won't mention his name, but 12 years ago I ran into a former offensive lineman from MICHIGAN who instead of going pro, which he very well couldve... Decided that he wanted to be a Doctor in the medical field. He became an emergency room Doctor. These young men and women athletes become CHAMPIONS of life, not just of sport! GO BLUE!!

Blake Corum is Forever a CHAMPION of football and a CHAMPION of the people... The young men that are selected to play for the University of Michigan are held to higher academic standards than a lot of other schools. Not only are expectations met, in most instances they are exceeded! Not only do these young athletes follow the high standards set for them, they also hold themselves accountable to their own high standards as well. These kids under Jim Harbaughs tenure are truly a different breed... Sherone Moore will keep this program rolling in the right direction. Players like Will Johnson, Donovan Edwards, Colston Loveland, Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham are going to be great leaders on and off the field. So happy those guys are returning... GO BLUE!!

I was very young the last time Michigan won the natty back in 97', I unfortunately don't have memories of Woodson or Howard at Michigan but from my lifetime, Corum is the greatest Michigan football player I've ever seen. On and off the field, this man will be missed and the best of luck in the NFL!
