In America there is a huge misconception of how and why some European families are of royal heritage. These are families that are centuries old. They came about their titles by mostly doing good for others.And their wealth by being good at business and trading with other countries. Over the generations, many families have come under attack, verbal, printed and sometimes physical, for no reason other than jealousy by lesser families or individuals.Born in the US, I keep my bloodline a secret.

Some of u folks need to educate yourselves. The Monaco royals have made their money through business ventures... Casinos, hotels, etc. It is a tax haven for the rich due to no tax... The citizens do not keep them up & they r very educated, speak several languages & are all involved in charity work. You shouldn't judge other countries because of having royals... It is their heritage & if they r ok with it who r u to say anything negative?

A wealthy lawyer that worked on our floor happened to be the nicest, most polite and helpful person there when he never had to be at all.

YOU need to educate yourself: Monaco is NOT a Royal family. It’s a principality, thus the HSH status rather than HRH. Prince Albert is the only one to “benefit” from those business ventures-he owns 35% of SBM (a chain that runs some of the hotels, restaurants, and I think a casino too).

I AM a european and born into a Noble family although I happen to live in the US. And I am related in one way or another to some of the Royals throughout Europe. My family is over 700 years old. And the ones that I know do quite a lot for their respective countries. yes, there are parties etc. So what. Obviously you exude a deep dislike of Nobles for your own pathetic reasons. And yes, some of us even peruse sites like this and other social media because Nobles are not so different from others.

Monegase people do not pay income tax, however they do pay inheritance tax. Not all of them are involved in Charity work…Prince Albert, his wife and sisters, Charlotte’s brother Andrea and Prince Albert’s cousins (whom are no longer in line for the throne) all do, but the Ducruets, Charlotte & Pierre have yet to do any public charity work.
